ABOUT NOELLA

My name is Noella Ukpe-Roberts. I'm a 7th grader from Texas who loves art, French, playing soccer and my precious hamsters, Katnis and Fitzgerald.  Fitzgerald is a big baby -  very emotional guy!  He squeaks and whimpers whenever something makes him uncomfortable or annoyed.  Katnis, on the other hand, is like her Hunger Games' counterpart - she is cool as a cucumber.

I am currently a straight A student (knock on wood) and recently honored to learn that I scored in the top 4% in Math and top 7% in Reading on the State of Texas' standardized tests for 7th graders.  This accomplishment allowed me to participate in the 2016 - 2017 Duke TIP Talent Search with other students who scored in the top 5% in the country, and take the SAT in January 2017.  Earning a 1030 on the SAT, I was accepted into Duke TIP's Summer Academy Program, earning a $3,800 scholarship to take a Money and Me college equivalent course in finance.

My ultimate goal is to be a CEO of my own Animation Studio.  Learning about finance will go a long way in helping to prepare me for my future as a business woman.  Right now, I try to make a difference in my community in many ways.  My primary service activities include helping raise awareness about important issues impacting girls, being a youth officer for Volunteers Organized to Exercise Responsibility (V.O.T.E.R), and volunteering for different causes throughout Harris/Fort Bend Counties.

I started this website for my personal growth but I thought it would also be cool to share projects with other kids doing great things in the community.  If you have a great project idea, feel free to email me or join my Facebook Impact Page!
